When should I book my senior pictures?

The best time to book your Northern Colorado senior photography session is during the spring of your junior year or early summer before senior year. This gives you the best selection of dates and allows plenty of time to receive your photos for yearbooks, graduation announcements, and prints.

What should I wear for my senior pictures?

Choose 2–3 outfits that make you feel confident and reflect your personality. I recommend mixing casual and dressy looks with timeless colors and comfortable clothing. If you're unsure, I'm always happy to help you plan your outfits before your session.

Where do senior photo sessions take place?

I photograph seniors throughout Windsor, Fort Collins, Greeley, Severance, Loveland, Timnath, and Northern Colorado. Whether you love mountain views, open fields, downtown streets, lakes, or flower-filled parks, we'll choose a location that matches your style.

What time of day is best for senior pictures?

Most senior sessions are scheduled about 1–2 hours before sunset when the light is soft, warm, and flattering. Morning sessions can also be beautiful, especially during the summer.

Can I bring more than one outfit?

Absolutely! Most seniors bring multiple outfits to create a gallery with lots of variety. We'll plan enough time for quick outfit changes during your session.

Can I bring props?

Yes! Props are a great way to personalize your senior photos. Consider bringing sports equipment, musical instruments, books, flowers, your letterman jacket, cap and gown, or anything that represents your hobbies and interests.

I'm awkward in front of the camera. Will you help me pose?

Definitely! Almost every senior tells me they're nervous before their session. I'll guide you through natural poses and fun prompts so you never have to wonder what to do. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself.

Can my parents or a friend come to my session?

Of course! You're welcome to bring a parent, sibling, or friend for encouragement (and to help carry outfits!). Having someone there who makes you smile can make the experience even more fun.

How long is a senior photo session?

Most senior sessions last about an hour, giving us plenty of time to explore the location, change outfits, and capture a wide variety of images.
